Soror Crystal True was initiated March 30, 2001 as a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Kappa Theta chapter of Ferris State University – Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an undergraduate student, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Advertising. It was during her membership years in service at Kappa Theta chapter when Soror True began her love for Zeta and developed her leadership skills by serving as the chapter’s 1st-Vice President and President for three years. She also served as the State of Michigan’s Undergraduate Member-at-Large of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
Joining the ladies of Tau Xi Zeta Chapter in January of 2016, Soror True was eager to participate in all activities to better serve the local community. She currently serves as 2nd-Vice President and Social Committee Chair of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Tau Xi Zeta Chapter for 2020-2022.
Soror True dedicated 13 years of her career to high education and devoted several years working in various leadership roles from Campus Director of Admissions to Student Management. She currently works as a Sales Instructor for CDW and is responsible for training new hires on sales, technical solutions, systems, processes and resources.
In her spare time, Soror True enjoys spending time with her husband and 4-year old daughter, Caitlyn, who will participate in Tau Xi Zeta’s youth auxiliary group for the upcoming year. She is also an active member of the Brown Chapel AME Church family, where she teaches Vacation Bible School, serves on BCAME Outreach Ministries and the Founder’s Day Committee.
